What type of transactions are payouts?

Payouts are instant bank transfers initiated through Ivy to send money directly to end users.
They can be used in two ways:

• Closed-loop payouts → to users who previously paid in via Ivy

• Open-loop payouts → to any user, even if they never made a payment

All payouts are funded from your Ivy collection account, which can hold fiat or USDC depending on your setup.

This makes Ivy payouts suitable for refunds, marketplace disbursements, earnings withdrawals, and real-time user rewards.
