How to check a Payin status
Log in to the Merchant Dashboard.
From the left-hand menu, click Payins.
Enter the Reference ID, or Bank Statement Reference into the search bar.
If you cannot find the transaction using the Transaction ID, use the Reference ID instead (format:
irfc22fef96b1ff3f)Note: Reference ID search may not work for manual bank transfers made outside the checkout system while the payment is between authorization and settlement stages
Select the transaction to view its current status.
Understanding Payin Statuses
When viewing a payin, you may see the following statuses:
Processing – A checkout session has been opened and the customer has selected their bank or payment method, but the payment has not yet been initiated. If the customer does not complete the payment, this status will remain for one hour before expiring.
Authorised – The payment has been initiated by the customer.
Cancelled – The checkout session expired (after one hour) without the customer completing the payment.
Note: A transaction showing “Processing” for an extended period typically means the customer opened the checkout but did not complete the payment. This will automatically change to “Cancelled” after one hour.
Payouts (Withdrawals)
Payouts are payments you send to your customers and are also referred to as withdrawals.
How to check a payout status
Log in to the Merchant Dashboard.
From the left-hand menu, click Payouts.
Enter the Payout ID or Bank Statement Reference into the search bar.
Select the payout to view its current status.
The Merchant Dashboard always reflects the most up-to‑date status available for both payins and payouts.
