Payment Status: “Finalizing”

Overview

When a payment shows “Finalizing” on the merchant dashboard, it means:

  • The payment has been successfully received

  • 🔄 The payment is currently undergoing booking and verification processing

At this stage, the funds are received, but the final confirmation is still in progress.


What Happens During “Finalizing”

The payment is being:

  • Reviewed for any additional compliance or security checks (if required)

This is a normal processing step.


Processing Time

  • In most cases, finalizing completes within a few minutes

  • In certain cases, it may take up to 48 hours

    • This usually happens if additional verification or manual review is required

  • If payment is displayed finalizing, check your inbox from our team for request of information **


Can the Order Be Expired?

Yes.

While a payment is in “Finalizing” status:

  • The order can still be expired via API if necessary

  • Expiring the order will stop the booking process


Possible Next Statuses

After “Finalizing”, the payment will transition to one of the following:

  • Paid – Verification successful, booking confirmed

  • Canceled – Verification failed or the order was expired
