Can I confirm an Unmatched deposit matches a failed payment?

An unmatched deposit occurs due to users not completing the payment flow correct

  • Not clicking "I have sent payment" after authorising in their bank app

  • Not filling out the data fully correct for a manual transfer

This causes the funds to send, but not be able to be matched with the checkout session preformed by the user

In worst of cases, a payment is sent to the right Iban but the sending users has left our all relevant details, therefore there is no concrete identifier other than sender name, amount and time of the payment.

In most cases there is at least the bank statement reference included or the payment reference ID, this can be used as a concrete identifier.
