Why is my Payout request failing in Sandbox?

When testing the payout/create endpoint in sandbox, please ensure that the balance of your test Collection Account has a sufficient balance.

  • This can be checked via balance/retrieve endpoint or via the Settlements tab of the Ivy Dashboard

  • If there are insufficient funds, please create and simulate a pay-in order

  • Please also ensure that the IBAN and BIC (optional) are valid

  • Ensure the destination account holder name exactly matches the actual account holder name - VoP (Verification of Payee) checks will fail if there is a mismatch

  • Do not include type = beneficiary in your request
