Billing Reporting - Merchant Guide

Last updated: June 12, 2026

At the end of each calendar month you will receive an invoice from Augustus (Formerly Ivy) for all billable activity. The Billed Events Report is the source of truth for fee amounts, and can be reconciled against your own data for usage of Augustus. Alternatively, you can retrieve the transactions tracked on Augustus’s ledger in the Transactions Report and reconcile these against the billed events.

To enable you to fully reconcile the invoice amount Augustus offers two key reports;

Billed Events Report

Augustus’s Finance team can provide a full list of billing events. Each billable event includes the fee amount alongside the relevant payment process id that led to the billed event. The key columns from this data are

  • Invoice ID - Unique identifier of the invoice this event was billed under

  • Meter Data Reference - The unique identifier of the payment process which is being billed for. e.g. Order ID, Refund ID, Settlement ID

  • Meter Data Timestamp - The timestamp when this billing event was recorded

  • Product Name - The product that this event is billing for

  • Product Item Name(s) - The pricing type; ‘Number of’ the fee is applied to the count of events, whereas ‘Amount of’ the fee is applied as as a percentage to the value of the transaction.

  • Cost Amount Currency: The currency of the fee - this will always be EUR

  • Cost Amount Quantity: The amount of the fee

  • Exchange Rate: The exchange rate used if the original transaction was not in EUR

Transactions Report

The transaction report is a list of all of the transactions that took place in the specified period (e.g. previous calendar month). This includes;

  • Transaction ID - the unique identifier of this transaction

  • Currency - the currency of the transaction. e.g. EUR, GBP

  • Amount - the value of the transaction in the transaction currency

  • Side - Whether the transaction was a credit or debit

  • Balance After - the balance of the relevant account after the transaction

  • Bank Statement Reference - The reference sent with the transaction by the sending bank

  • Transaction Date - UNIX timestamp of when the funds arrived/left and the transaction was recorded

  • Payment Process Type - The type of transaction, such as; Payin, Payout, Refund, Deposit, Settlement, etc.

  • Payment Process ID - The unique identifier of this payment process. Critically, this will match the Meter Data Reference available on the Billed Events Report

FAQ

How can I reconcile the fees I’ve been billed to transactions?

  • The payment process ID on the transaction report can be matched with the Meter Data Reference on the Billed Events Report. This allows you to see the fee associated with each transaction along with details such as currency, amount, date, etc.

Where can I retrieve the reports for end of month reconciliation?

  • The Transaction Report can be downloaded from the Augustus Merchant Dashboard

  • The Billed Events Report can be requested from Augustus’s finance team at finance@augustus.com or via Telegram and Slack after the invoice is issued each month. If required in all cases we can set up automated delivery.

How does currency conversion to the invoice currency take place?

  • All Augustus invoices are issued in EUR

  • Where the transaction amount is non-EUR currency conversion is executed by Augustus’s third-party billing platform. The exchange rate used is available in the Billed Events Report in the Exchange Rate column
