Is it possible to dispute chargebacks?

Traditional card chargebacks and dispute flows do not apply when using Ivy, because no card schemes (Visa/Mastercard) are involved.

Instead, any dispute-like situations are handled directly between you, Ivy, and the customer’s bank on a case-by-case basis.

Occasionally, a bank may initiate a recall if they believe a transfer was fraudulent. In this case:

  1. The sending bank contacts Ivy.

  2. Ivy contacts you with the recall request.

  3. You decide whether to accept or decline the recall.

Please note:

  • Excessive recalls or lack of cooperation

  • → often lead to funds being frozen until the situation is clarified.
